Day of the Dolphin

Instead of mowing the lawn, surfing the web or roaming the mall, this is how we spent our Saturday.  These dolphins were amazing...a pod of at least 150 dolphins hung around the boat to frolic and entertain us until WE decided to leave 45 minutes later.  At any one time, we had 12-20 running the bow and had loads more jumping all around us.  Seeing the mothers herd their babies was REALLY a treat.  Fred even got in the water and swam around with them.  A few came within about 5-6 feet or so to check him out. Thor spent the entire time on the foredeck and was just enthralled with watching them run the bow and jump in front of him.  Lots of spinning, jumping, tail smacking and squeaking going on.  It was a great day!
